Inspired by my visit to fowa last week, I gave this blog a long overdue makeover on Sunday evening (well, as much of a makeover that I can afford given how busy I am right now!). Thankfully I didn’t have to build a new template from the ground up, since a few tweaks to custom.css from the previously unmodified Cutline Theme by Chris Pearson have gone a long way! Credit is also due to the creator of a colour palette called Bad Kitten™.
The five default Cutline header images were also replaced with some of my own, including:
- a special place in St Andrews…
- the harbour wall next to an incredible lobster hut in Crail, a sleepy fishing village also in the East Neuk.
- peering down the River Coln behind Bibury Court next to the family home in the Cotswolds – some incredible prehistoric vegetation in this shot!
- a stunning sunflower that lives in front of my girlfriend’s parents’ house in Gignese
- a mountainous view over Lago Maggiore from Stresa
With blog design now 99% sorted, content is again King – there are some exciting topics that I plan to write about over the next week.
