I applied for the iPhone Developer Program just over a month ago and am still waiting for the application to be processed. It really would have been sensible to have applied earlier and I’m crossing my fingers for a positive response from Apple soon. Until then Total Hotspots is working on the specification and interface designs whilst the implementation (more details to follow) is on ice…

It was interesting to note that few details of the planned app are requested during the application process, which might make the review process slightly more hit-and-miss, enabling the “I am rich” application to slip through the net whilst rejecting many legitimate developers during the beta stages. If you’ve had an experience of the iPhone Developer Program application review time, especially since the App Store went live, then please do share.
